    Nipples!

Nipples? Yep, been greasing mine this afternoon (on the P38) and after that I got carried away and put a litre (yes, a full litre) of oil in the front axle....that'll be why its sounded rough since I got the thing. My question is 'What fluid to put in the manual gearbox and transfer box?'. I...

    A Quick Plug

Quick plug to say the service I got from symlise ebay shop is second to none and recommended.......and the compressor seals are pretty good too. System now running at full pressure which exposed the cursed leaky N/S/R airbag. Guess what I'm doing this weekend?

    Tailgate tantrum

Does the button spring back out when released? Mines a bugger for sticking in every couple of months or so no matter how much 'lube' I give it. As stated above get access to the mechanism by removing the lower tailgate internal cover and is simple enough to sort out.

I have to agree. After only being a member for about a fortnight I have had nothing but supportive, practical advice from guys who have infinitely more Range Rover experience than I have. Incidentally, are P38s really that bad? I managed 6 months trouble free use before my first EAS hard...

    Festive P38 suspension problem

Thanks fer that. Will the liner definitely need replacing or does that depend on the ammount of wear, scoring or grooves in the inside. Whatever, I won't be using the Dutch ones after the hassle that some of the guys on this forum have had with them. I'll need the compressor to be putting out...

    Festive P38 suspension problem

Thanks Fellas, I've used the P38 all afternoon without issue although it does still return to access level if sitting for a while but it returns to normal level within 5-10 secs of starting. Will the silicone compressor seal become more effective as it heats up? Anyway, the proof of the...

    Festive P38 suspension problem

Hi and Happy Christmas. I've had a pretty much trouble free time with my '97 P38 since I got it last May but the day before it snowed at the end of November I got the (seemingly obligatory) suspension hard fault. This was easily cured with the EAS cable and software, the fault having been 'RR...

    Hello there! (and errr, help)

Hi, I'm Andy and I stay in Fife with my '97 P38 Range Rover 2.5 DSE. I've owned the truck for about 6 months now and have largely enjoyed the experience, however, the EAS went wonky a couple of weeks ago (max 35 mph etc etc) which I cured yesterday with the reset software. It did take a couple...
