2002 Disco Td5 auto 143k miles. Just last year i had complete replacement of brake pipes front to rear. Done with copper pipe by my local garage for £213.00 inc VAT Try and find and independent garage preferably working on landrovers.

Yes it can be done without removing tank. Either pull the new pipe through attached to old pipe or use a cord or something. Done by my garage and as already suggested wrap the pipe in anti chafe tape or fit a piece of split hose over the pipe.

going back to the WD40. WD40 is NOT a lubricant, used as a cleaner and loosener of parts it is great. There are WD40 versions which do lubricate. After using WD 40 I usually spray with light oil or spray grease depending on what needs lubricated. You should also never use WD40 near electrics.

Hi Russell, you can get either a quarter chassis or a half chassis for the D2 depending on how bad your chassis is. Also change your profile to show where you are properly and someone on here could possibly recommend a nearby chassis repairer.

Definitely go to Paul at discovery2parts. Completely new key, just to be cut and programmed for £40. Need a nanocom to programme the key and any good key cutter will fix the metal part, provided you have a template.

When I had my 1996 300 Tdi Disco,which was a jap reimport, I had 4 rear lights. Two in the bumper and two on the rear light assemblies. I recall seeing other Disco,s with the same. Always felt that the 4 rear lights was much safer.
