oil out the timing cover drain hole? not good at all im afraid, sounds like a oil seal aint doing its job for a start. fuel system would be my first port of call for power loss, go back to basics and check every joint, re bleed etc then you can rule that out. intake system next check all joints...

had same problem with me 110, as mentioned above- disconect the multi pin plug to the blower, located at rear right corner of engine bay (as you look at it) should be down in that corner behind the heater box somewhere. then switch on fan control. if it still blows then youve got a short...

goodyear wrangler at's in 7.50/16 on me 110 and hasnt missed a beat once , even now the roads here are pretty much ice. performed faultlessly in over a foot of snow and still doing the job.

had same problem with my 19j, turbo had gone bang. personally i fitted a tdi instead of fixing it, but check the turbo fella.

trouble is when you drop the engine in the weight and gearbox twist it to the drivers side, you need to move engine slightly over to passenger side as you lower it in, fan should clear by good 10mm . mine does.

bout 10years ago i had a series 3 2.25 and was offered one of those bolt on kits, think it was tb turbos or something like? it did give a very small increase in power but did result in a perfectly good engine self destructing in bout 6 months! the 2.25 was not built to be turbo so not worth it...

simple answer is no it aint, easy enough to get it out but youl have to take the wing vent off to allow the intake pipe to move plus the washer bottle and bracket. also control cables for heater and the hoses (if you fold them back on them selves and tuck in on bulkhead you wont loose to much...

cold start solanoid on injection pump, will give the same symptoms if one of the o-rings has perished. worth winding it out for a look.

started the long overdue re-paint of the 110, finish her off tomorrow and she might even look smart for once!

what engine is it?

used to have a series 2 88" that had just what you need on it. hand 2 brackets bolted through with the bumper mount bolts and an a-frame attached to that with a pully at the top, all you did was chuck your winch line over the pully and you got a crane. before me it was used to shunt mineing...

used it years ago on a series 2 109, gave a pretty good finish with nice gloss. make sure the paints warm to get best result

got them on my csw and it made a huge difference when loaded up, now sits pretty level even when full of kit. 9man team and rifles? airsoft?
