Hi Discool Thats what I meant Permanent 12V and switched to turn it on;)

Had this very problem.Connect red and black wires together and connect to centre pin of phono plug that connects to sub out on your radio. Sub amp has a permanent 12V feed and is turned on and off by the radio in a similar way that it would operate an electric aerial:D

Worth getting new rubber seals for it as well-they can disintegrate/dry out :eek:
