If you mean the panel filter they make then may-be.If you mean the 57i cone then no, not unless u make up a cold feed for it. You need to get cold air to the filter not hot as cold air is denser.Speek to roverron if you want an aftermarket filter or any other info on performance.

i had the same prob when i first fitted mine.Roverron said it was due to the maff sending out too higher signal.So i fitted a new maff sensor from roverron £55 great result.Most units send out a low signal but just sometimes they go the other way and its too high. that was the case with mine...

Hi all, went down to my local stealers today to get 4 exhaust rubber hangers, needless to say i didnt get them they wanted £20 and not in stock.Went round the corner to ALS who had them in stock for only £7.Where o where do LR get there priceing structure from and stock control, what a joke.

stay with it m8, all cars have probs from time to time. ive got a 2001 td4 with 150000 on the clock and have only had a few miner probs in nearly 2 years.There r good ones out there but like women they all need money spent on them from time to time.Good luck.;)

Hi m8, i fitted one of these last week to my td4 with great results.What i found was that if the settings r too high you get quite a lot of black smoke out the back.Mine is set on 3 with both the switches down (on),no black smoke, but every engine is differant so you must play around with...

Well at last i have found where the rumble is coming from,its the exhaust at about 1000 rpm.Its still a bit odd because if you pull very slightly on the back box the rumble stops.Does anyone have any idea how to stop this, is it a case of new exhaust rubbers or could it be knackerd engine...

TD4 is chain m8 so no belt to change

Plenty of oil, only check it a month or so ago.The rumble only seems to happen below 5 mph weather its in gear or not.Its becomeing a real head scratcher.

Hi m8, doing the job has been coverd well above, all i would add is make sure that you buy good pads and not cheap rubbish.Its a very easy job to change the pads on a hippo,once done give them just a few miles to bed in.

Matford only seem interested in selling a vehicle not helping once its left the for-court.They employe cheap grease monkeys who try to follow what it says in a manual and then charge proffesional rates.I wonder if its the same in the factory that puts our landrovers together(that would explain alot)

hi all, well i have put on new rear diff mounts today (not a hard job) but the hippo still rumbles. As said before it only seems to happen at very low speed (below 5 mph) and yes i am still running in monde mode (2wd).Has anyone got any more ideas please.

Get you hippo,s ownership changed so that it is owned by someone who has max no claims then have your-self put as a named driver.Direct line will let you build up your own nc even as a named driver.I had to do this for my son after he had just passed his test.Hope this helps.

Have cleaned out egr but not inlet manifold which is full of gunk.Still have vacuim pipe connected but will disconnect later and see if there is any change.
