Hi all having some problems when starting when the engine is hot or cold the engine turns over but will not start but if i disconnect and reconnect the battery a couple times fast it then will start :confused: any suggestions where to check for the problem thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions I went over the timing with a buddy and it was a bit off :o so we re-timed it and got it started :) ,Also is there a way to manually reset the CPU again thanks.

Hello the location of the pump on my TD4 is on the passenger side in the area under the fuse boxes inside the engine bay front left side wheel arch also there is a press button switch for the pump i think it’s to prime there is also a primer pump in the tank as I said this is on my TD4...

I never removed anything and the problem is actuality between 2000 & 2500 rpm when pulling off or even driving and the gears shift, it does not happen all the time, also do you or anyone else knows of a hand held scanner to actuality work on the TD4 2001 would like to get one Thanks.

The heating lamp indictor for my TD4 located on my dash does not come on any idea on what might be the problem the vehicle starts normal I still just wait for the 15sec for the plugs to heat up then start.
