Top it up with oil & recheck leaking pipe whilst on 'tickover'. Replace the pipe ,if that is the main cause of the leak; the hose end may have split... Check coolant level & temperature gauge,on tickover temp gauge takes ages to move. Or if an AA member or similar give them a call...

the airbag in my audi a6 is 14 years old,the door label says replace at 15 years & i thought airbags would have a similar shelf life...

It's only one bolt.Don't know the head size though. Check the 'o' ring on the canister mine was leaking...

Found the same when towin the 'van (although mines a maunual) Changed the injectors approx £150-00 Problem resolved.

Check rubber donut coupling on rear driveshaft.They split with age

Does the engine rev freely,if not is belt timing correct?

Drive belt tensioner's whine ;in neutral,covered before on this forum. New bearing kit sold on eBAY...

Its possible the pipe was fatigued with age & any movement when fitting the 'o' ring may have assisted failure.

Are you sure the two oil pipes are not leaking,run the engine & check along their full length.Mine split at 178 000 miles

Just read an an article in 'car mechanics' with a high mileage van... What is high mileage for a Disco,mines @ 186k but I guess 250k+ is possible without major replacements ?

Airlock in radiator perhaps.Theres an inspection cap on the 300 not sure on the 200. I removed the cap & squeezed the hoses & changed the thermostat aswell...

Had my clutch replaced 2 months ago;300tdi. Was shown the old one but have n't noticed any real difference. I guess at high mileage 186k the flywheel has grooves so maybe the clutch friction plate needs to 'bed in'

Hi Timing belt tensioner is advisable. Alternator drive belt,possible water pump & alternator drive belt tensioner bearing (if it's squalking)

The front springs are unequal lenghts,or the ones I fitted were... 2 different part no.s

After adjusting the tappets,noticed no.6 tappet locknut would not tighten. Don't want to remove head to remove tappet,am thinking of an additional locknut or lock wire. Anyone had similar experience.

I had 1st -2nd gear change problem on 300tdi. Changed to Difflock evo2 ,18000 miles later no issues at all.

Have used British Remould tyres (when times were hard!) some people dont rate them, but paid £29 +VAT last time each.Shop around for fitting.

The manufacturers use a string tool fitted to the seal inner lip after soap is applied & then pulled put carefully so that the seal lip fits over the window frame. Not sure if Draper or similar sell the string tool,try trade counters...
