Hi all whist doing a few checks this morning before the dreaded mot in two weeks time i have found when i grip the front wheels at 3 & 9 o@clock i can detect movement, slight on the ns & slightly more on the os. Any ieas please.:confused:

Thanks for the reply Johnathan, it has put my mind at rest. I have found a thread regarding the resetting of the ecu, i cannot find the relay for the abs light which is situated under the passenger footwell. Can anyone give me an exact location for the little bugger, by the way i have a 300 tdi...

now i,m getting a tad worried, at first i had no abs light coming on with the ignition, this was due to the dickhead who owned the before me removing the bulb due to the ns cv joint knocking. After replacing the cv joint i reset the sensor & the light comes on stays on until you get over 7 mph...

Hi can anyone tell me the correct light sequence for my 300 tdi, the light comes on with the ignition & stays on until you rive off & then the light goes out. There seems to be different ideas as what the light should do. Any advice welcome.:D

Hi all, going to replace one of my leaking swivel balls this weekend, can anyone tell me to set the drag a spring pull is mentioned. Is this the same as a spring scale as in what fishermen use to weigh their catch. Any advice most welcome. :)

Hi all, just found out the headlight leveling on my 300tdi has decided to pack up, have looked in the manual & found out it shares a fuse with the headlights & does not have a dedicated fuse. Has anybody suffered the same fate & if so can you give me a few pointers before i start Snoops

Yeah you've obviously got the same problem as me glad I've got it sorted so quickly we may as well have a moderator close this thread now as it is sorted:lol:

Fitted new track rod ends today, thought it would be a nice easy job how wrong. Track rod came off OK however track rod ends bit of a bitch. Fitted new ends coated in copper grease very tight on last few turns, took the bus to Hi Q to be tracked, could not complete job due to track rod siezed...
