Ok, I am mistaken thinking the SU has a diaphragm similar to a solex.... I have twin hif44 carbs. I thought the tube routing would go down there for a reason but I couldn't understand why - due to the fuel leaking/overflow... How would the float stop the flow? Does it - should it plug the fuel...

Eventually the plan is to shoe horn this engine in from a rotten disco one i aquired from a mates garden. Can I ask, where does the fuel/float vent/overflow go to on this engine...? The black tube that triangulated up between the two carbs?

If it's pulling more cleanly, do you think perhaps you were using your right foot a tad more? Perhaps a slight sub conscious change in style? Even if it doesn't improve it look on the bright side, there no more dirty shiity stuff re-entering your engine ;)

Hi there, I to of have a front QT diff guard.. There is a sprung bracket for the front required to fit. This is secured via 2 nuts on the top of the diff housing and then the final bolt is secured through the single threaded hole in your guard. QT sell all the bits at a very reasonable price...
