Welcome to the forum matey. I had a series 2a a long time ago and now have a disco1 300tdi . If you want something with less leccy bit then go for a disco1, td5's have so many ecu's .I expect others will have different views...each to their own lol.

Fitted home made light bar.5ft angle iron tree stake from B+Q's and some plate I had lying about. Angel Eyes light up with the side lights. And high beam. .

They come in lots of different sizes,if you've got a good friendly motor shop take the plug from the pump with you and they might match it up.Good luck.

You could try a engine blanking plug.

My wife is disabled too,problems with her back and legs,my Father-in-law has Parkinson and mobility problems. I used to have a estate car and they both had a job getting in and out. As my misses is classed as disabled can I class my disco as a disabled carriage. Then I could still drive it.

Ha ha, my bed's dry thanks....

Only advice I can give,having built a camper out of a Merc van, is to drill lots of air holes in the ply under the foam,helps keep down the damp forming under the bed when you sleep on it. Looks good though.
