There has been a debate about a the meaning of Lifetime Warranty on the Arnott airbags. I have sent them an e-mail and received the following answer: The warranty is for the life of the vehicle. If the air spring wears out or breaks due to a manufacturers defect we will repair or replace it...

It means what it means.....The manufacture date is on each airbag and if they fail, they will replace them. And they was not written on paper....I have seen ot in my screen! :doh:

Arnotts will give you a lifetime warranty I have been informed. They are a much better ride too. Just fitted them and very happy with them. :)

My car is 1995 petrol one and I have replaced the whole pump, because I have first got only the sender unit sent by Britparts. Had to send it back and buy a complete pump. They all fit by dropping the tank, unless you want to use the tinopener method....I don`t.

On the early models it is not possible to buy separate sender only. I have done it and you need a complete pump for about £70. And it is a **** job taking the tank off, but still would not cut the floor...:)

Because I would need a lot of other equipment too. A decent compressor, all the little pipes to get in the cavities and ofcourse needs a good wash too. I have done my cars in the past with the Waxoyl kit, but it is a **** job. You get covered in the stuff. Also need to be quite warm in the place...

I am thinking of having the car waxoyl treated. Around here can have it done for about £350-400. All under the car and all cavities as well. I always liked the Waxoyl. I am not sure about Hammerite..
