your problem could well be fuse box failure , not unheard of on a rangerover , a decent sparky should be able to diagnose this for you if your unsure . rick.

if the rad is suspect , chuck it in the bin and fit a new unit , they cant be cleaned or flushed properly . also if your changing the heater hose`s be very carefull removing the old one otherwise you may disturb the heater o rings , youve been warned :D rick.

hello mate , talking about the afm reminded me that i had a 93 my 3.9 which did the same as yours , and after loads of messing it turned out to be the multi plug on the afm , try a bit of contact cleaner and very gently close up the contacts in the plug , it worked for me . rick.
