    Disco 1 200TDI On-board air using a D2 compressor

searched google, it has been done and a few have said the compressor is 100% duty cycle, as is the p38 one, preassure switch to set cutoff, and feeds for power required with suitable fusing :) certainly possible though from what i can see :)

Disco 1 What to check next! "updated guys still need help :)"

could be diff, or could be 1/2 shaft's worth taking shafts out and checking the splines, fair bit of backlash in there though, most likely splines, as they are driven by the road wheels with prop removed can still clunk

    Run out of diesel

it's amazing how many purges it can take, also the in tank pump is a 2 stage pump, low pressure to fuel filter, then returns and goes through higher pressure pump to engine, could be high side failed and low not got the gut's needed, injectors are none crackable as they are fed via a fuel...

    Run out of diesel

hopefully just air in system purge, purge then purge again, then try re-starting :)

    Disco 2 Annoying squeaky belt.

if the ace is disconected, and pump still in situe, then could be the pump dying due to lack of lube, you can get a kit to remove the pump..

    D2 TD5 loom extension issues

surely a loom extension is purely that, i.e it extends the wires from A to B to allow re-location of the ECU, sounds like something in extension not wired correctly, or poor quality so resistance dropping current/voltage below that needed by ECU to function correctly..

i have found my engine oil. its just in the wrong place!

Most likely the oil cooler, oil under higher preassure than coolant so gets pumped in to cooling system See https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/td5-oil-cooler-repair-oil-in-coolant.201097/ Hope this helps :)
