    If you have no green hdc light (flashing or otherwise) when turned on then pull up the gear lever gaiter and you'll find the wires to the switch have broken

    there is no wiring from the factory so you wont find it. All wiring should be in the kit you bought. Switch goes in the gap above the drivers glovebox lid in a small panel (supplied in kit)

    MGF has VVT or VVC or whatever its called. Variable valve timing anyway. You'll need to fit the standard freelander stuff to it for it to work as the ecu's will be different too, the freelander ecu wont work with VVC

    If you dont go offroading take the prop off and throw it away, you'll get better fuel econemy and it'll drice nicer. If you want the prop on there then pay silly money for a new vcu.

    check the arm/release fork in the gearbox, they tend to seize. Get someone to pump the clutch and see how far it moves. If it hardly moves then it's seized.
