Agree - I have spent a lot trying for 300BHP, on a N/A 4.3... ...I could of spent half and gone for a LS3, and been less of a head ache....

Oh worth doing 2" shacs makes a big difference - drives much better - be careful - hope your drive shafts are in good shape - I found vibration can be exagerated!!!! Then again my original ones where properly ****ed...

I ended out cutting off threaded bit sticking out then grinding it whole lot back untill there was nothing left. Took about 20 mins - no pretty - but effective. Have you sorted it yet? PM if you need help..... I an in North hants alot.

Bits you need: Inlet manifold HP and Lift pump HP flexible lines I used 6 Meters of ss over braided stuff Fuel rail with injectors Loom MAF sensor - go with Hotwire system on 14CUX best one starts with a 5 Plenum all sensors on inlet and plenum flexi tubing 16mm id to go to heater box 35mm...

Be really carefull!!!!!! I have done it and it is not that easy - firstly the plenum will not fit pointing to the left - the heater box is in the way.... ....Secondly you need to mod the bulk head to get the loom to the passenger under seat box for the ECU. Plan this carefully as the loom...

I am running a highly tuned rover v8 in mine, and it is actually better economy than the 2.25. Fitting it into engine bay was a wa nker of a job. Finding a v8 that wasn't bollixed was slightly worse. Now I'm finished whole job was deffinatly NOT worth it! Costs a lot to do it properly, makes...
