    L322 Headlight removal 2011 L322

Hi Jon, I need to get my 2005 Headlamps out for some much needed pampering so need to remove the bumper also I think. Where are your pages from please so I can get access if possible as they look like the sort I could do with. Many thanks in advance. Tricky.

Spot to typo error, should say 20” Supercharged wheels, I was typing ahead of my brain speed. Sorry. Tricky.

L322 Rear Screen Washer Leak Resolved

Hi all, wanted to share my solution to the dreaded rear screen wash leaking out of the wiper motor body. Having tried, unsuccessfully, on both my L322’s to fix leaking from this grossly over engineered system of delivering fluid to the rear window without spending £100+ on a new motor I have...

    L322 Steering ,2004 td6 vogue

Hi, sorry I don’t have the answers for you but hopefully someone else can help as I have noticed similar issues also an intermittent lumpy feedback through the steering wheel. Mine is in for MoT today so may get a report on that if significant enough. Cheers Tricky.

    Lets see your rims

Morning All, just returned to standard 21” Supercharged wheels for the winter, save the black 22” rims for the warmer months. MoT tomorrow so had a wash too. Tricky :)

    L322 Non starter, water ingress

Hi great news it’s back on the road but I agree with the dehumidifier advice as I have three permanently on rotation in the glovebox with the fuse cover off, the cabin and the NSR where the Bluetooth, sat nav etc live. That was the way I cleared my brake light on and weird electrical gremlins...

Range rover 2.7td v6 oil seal

Hi All, I wanted to add to Mark’s comment about the Loctite on the outside edge. Make sure it’s fitted straight as it could be very difficult to remove again if it leaks. Use a retaining product not a studlock grade as they cure slower and deliver a more durable seal. Good luck, Tricky.

    Heavy power steering

Thanks for your wisdom, I have noticed heavy steering so will do a check later to decide what to do with it. Cheers Tricky.

L322 L405 market - I’m sure I’m in the same boat as a lot of you l322 owners?

Two pictures say it all for me. The first a screenshot from a dealer website the other my son snapped of our 16 year old L322 that’s bought and paid for. We’re all drawn to new cars but at £90k a new Range Rover doesn’t make any sense so we look at the used ones. Unfortunately, as stated these...

    L322 This may cause nausea..

One could take the view that PSA are obviously using top quality kit but I think the opposite is view that JLR have gone budget parts is more realistic :( Tricky

    A/V off, Help!!!

Good morning and thanks for the update. There is a fibre optic loop connector you can by if you don’t replace the Bluetooth module just to make it more permanent. Check on the bay. Cheers Tricky

    L322 Tyre talk

Hi and ditto, for my sins I run 22” bands in the warmer months and switch to 20” Scorpions before the end of October. Pirelli have definitely hit the mark with the P Zero it’s very quiet and super grippy on the tarmac rain or shine. Off road I can’t testify but would have thought you would be...

    2007 L322 tdv8

Hi John, I’m not an electrical engineer but as a mechanical engineer and L322 owner I’d say check every connector on the rear entertainment system units for corrosion or damage especially if the car has aftermarket tints on the rear windows because any water dripping down onto these will eat...

L322 Removal of driver's side contour seat switch panel

Hi and ditto, those fingers at the back will almost certainly break or bend the wrong way at some point of the process but there are some second hand panels with switch attached on the bay for £100+ So if you’re up for a challenge have a go. For me I’m of a mind that if one button is upside down...

Advice needed for a complete Land Rover newbie - Range Rover vs Range Rover Sport

Hi and welcome to LandyZone, if you’re looking for a Range Rover you have made a good first step here but be warned we’re all pretty well one sided towards Range Rovers not Sports. That said each to their own. Best advice don’t accept anything a dealer tells you, by the best condition and...
