Slowly breaking this for parts, some parts aren't available unfortunately which I will list below, if it comes off easily then I'll be able to get it to you quickly, if not it may take a while as I'm working at the olympics and not at home very often Located in Rugby, CV23 Parts...

Boot and back carpets covered in oil

Evening all, last weekend I had a 25l drum of 10w40 in the back of the disco, went round a roundabout and knocked it over and the lid wasn't on as well as I thought, lost about 20 litres all over the floor... (fortunately I didn't pay for the oil..) A lot of it soaked in and has probably done...

Getting a bit close to home, that's just down the road...will keep an eye out

    another ebay gem !

How the hell does that get through? Looking at the pics, I can't see many (if any) of the points being retained! I suppose the sweetener is that they 'allow MG enthusiast groups to pick over the carcasses'...for a (probably inflated) fee I presume...

    alternator madness ! 200tdi conversion

If you already have a double bottom pulley somewhere, then problem solved, just use that
  7. TheKeymeister

    200 di coversion

Stick a bolt in the end and cable tie it, saves it destroying itself or something, just in case you ever put a brake servo on

Breaking. Discovery 300tdi ES dark grey

    bell housing

Seal isn't too happy when you take flywheel housing off anyway so just buy it it's not expensive
  12. TheKeymeister

    bell housing

Crank rear oil seal most likely, I'd replace it as a matter of course anyway
  13. TheKeymeister

    bell housing

I used 200tdi bellhousing and series gearbox and can't get a wading plug in anyway due to gearbox cross member
  14. TheKeymeister

    bell housing

There he is the man himself. lol
  15. TheKeymeister

    bell housing

He did it to save taking studs out I think, as all/more of them fitted properly on the 19j flywheel housing than the 200tdi one so theoretically should be better
  16. TheKeymeister

    bell housing

Take 19j flywheel housing off and fit that to the 200tdi, my mate did this in his defender and it worked out ok
  17. TheKeymeister

    another ebay gem !

You probably would have got away with that if it wasn't for your last paragraph, there's probably JUST enough points there to make it re-registerable... Be honest, you wanted more money for it than just a rolling chassis with V5 so thought you'd aim your ad at the scumbags :)
  18. TheKeymeister

watch this .. can a landy float.

Report it to the right people and the ****ers will probably get done for that, just look at that woman who did the racist rant on the tube

You can fit a series 2 low transfer gear in your t/box that counteracts that, See this Lower gearing - Series Forum - LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum
