    I've had vehicles do 120,000 miles on a clutch, so that seems odd, they shouldn't break up, though I have seen it before.

    Erm did I read correctly ... You have a seperate amp.. If so there is your problem, they kill the battery in 20 mins without a problem, if you really need the amp fit a leisure battery on a split charge relay, and power the amp from that...

    I have the 300tdi, Had it 5 months and have spent over £2000 on it so far, including another engine.. I'm hoping that's it for a while, was ready to scrap it tother day but got good friends to help with the moral support... Stick with it they are worth it...

    I had this problem on tractors quite often, a mix of antenna length and ground plane area, it also used to happen if signal was bouncing off the cab, I will try and find some more info on it as I have a friend who is a radio engineer, he has sorted these problems for me in the past

    Well we removed the engine as it had major problems, and started fitting a replacement, but will have to be finished tomorrow.. The engine has over heated and no 1 piston has left some of the alloy in the bore, the head has warped a touch, the crank is good though, the turbo is badly...
