Series 3 Wiring in cigarette lighter socket for sat nav.

I just ran a couple of wires straight from the battery then use one of those bestek multi sockets with a couple of usb ports that has an on off switch, I thinik they are fused too. might get round to wiring it in as an ignition live one day

the solex on my s1 leaks fuel sometimes when I switch the engine off I just ignore it now :D I think you can get kits to refurb them, there are people who will do it for you but last time I looked it wasn't cheap

reasonably priced hvlp spray gun? recommendations

thx for the replies, buying a used one hadn't occurred to me, will have a look on the bay. I knew of devilbiss' reputation but that's a bit too much for me to lash out on something that will get occasional use. saw a vid on u tube of a chap using 1.4 for putty primer but he thinned it out...

    Chassis prices

last time I looked at Richards you could get an s3 88 for £1,100 - couple of years ago I think but could be longer - maybe the company wasn't making any money and realised it wasn't charging enough I notice designachassis don't have prices up, you have to call to find the price

    Series I chasiss

I saw the flatpacks too, pretty expensive c.f. the s1 club ones when you factored in paying someone to weld it all up. iirc the flatpack was c£1500 and the s1 club c£1800 bit of a saving if your welding was up to snuff though. I should imagine welding a flat pack to be spot on is considerably...

    flaremaster joining brake pipes

yes I have a "proper " cutter :D I shall take a bit more off and try and get it so that the end of the join is at the clip. I generally agree with the doing a whole length of pipe comments but the rest of the pipe is in such good nick it would be a shame to swap it out as well as a pita to do.

    flaremaster joining brake pipes

I did, no one has a steel two way connector either double male or double female. well there is one advertised but it says in the description that the photo is for reference, what actually turns up is two female nuts :D an amazon seller had a steel double male for 1/4 pipe but when i ordered he...

    flaremaster joining brake pipes

I have a bit of a prob, I need to join two sections of 1/4 brake pipe. no one seems to do steel connectors foe 1/4 inch pipe only brass ones and I am sure that I have been told not to use brass fittings on high pressure brake lines. so has someone fed me rubbish about brass? is it possible to...

    Water Temperature Gauge Wiring Help

definitely looks like a series 3 gauge, my s1 gauge doesn't have a temp bit, but looks like your panel has been modified so your electrics may not fit the s1 diagrams
