Well been fiddling with my new disco :), got it last week is a bit poorly was sitting down on one side (air bag) had a couple of good second hand ones so now all good. Running poorly so first thing new plugs very little improvement, so leads and coil packs next FFS that could have been better...

I know that :D i is an NT :D and soon to be an AE, hopefully :) What i was querying was did the tester actually put that on the cert or did he give him the brake test print out? which isn't normally done. Depending on which route taken on MOT computer when inputting data it will...

Never wait for my glow plugs, just jump in and turn key and away she goes, if your getting a misfire on startup poss fault with injector/low compression? Did this fault suddenly come or has it gradually got worse???

Why would he query that?:confused:

1. Speedometer not fitted. 2. Speedometer incomplete, clearly inoperative or the dial glass broken or missing. 3. The speedometer cannot be illuminated. These are the only reasons a vehicle can fail it's mot for the speedo

No it won't fail for that the tester will/should change mile to Km on your mot pass/fail cert.

Its used so all the power used doesn't go through the ignition switch, the ignition switch just turns the relay on to power every thing, and what kwakerman said also ;)
