Ahh I wouldn't worry about it, the loom is easy to suss out if you're laying it on the floor

The most fun is to strip the loom and remove what you don't need/add new custom stuff

wasnt plannign on laying it out on floor, but that may be an option i guess..need to work out what all the relays do in foot wells 1st,

but i want to pull out everything i dont need (electric windows, imob, alarm central locking etc) and be left with all the basics, then i can make up my own looms for new stuff.

I would strongly consider a 200 loom mate...

Zero electronics on these cars

Some stuff to change but not much. Speedo cable is one...

you love your 200 electrics dont you hehe..im guna have a go with 300 wiring and if all else fails..get an auto spark involved lol..

what was the cable rating you sed through out your dash build as it looks fairly meaty.. iv put a post in general if your able to cast an eye

200 electrics are superb mate, no control modules, just simple relays and one fuse box throughout

most of the cable i have used throughout the car is .75mm twin core, that will handle 16 amps per core

will have a look now

I always work it out at 12 to be on the safe side

I have 6x55 on the roof and run 2x16 amp cables up the pillar for them

i might not have stated it was 300w (well 280) in this post, I worked out at 13 to be between not running and running, but I like your thinking of 12v than its covered and sorted..

well I set too with Stanley knife and snips and some massive balls and have started to remove the unwanted/redundant wiring.

so far iv sorted the rears out so that's sorted and made a good start with front (but no pics of this yet)

removed from front pass side to rear, theres probably more that I binned too but you get the idea..

front pass foot well - why oh why do we do this, surely theres better hobbies out there

well slowly slowly catchy monkey, now got sidelights, headlights, main beam, indicators and horn working..

However somewhere along the lines killed the wipers so need to work that out now which is another night mare im to face

few picky updates..

gfot fed up of loosing paper or it getting wet so due to needing a respray decided to use her wing lol

started to make up the relays and new fuse box for lights and bits n bobs

made a temp board in car which has now been replaces with full length and bits n bobs moved round with space for more relays etc

and for some juicy bits, I was going to go down the carling switch route but that's soooo last week, that and there was a wait for them from my local dealer, so iv gone for durite which are used on trucks etc and fully customisable...and I almost fell through the floor when I got the bill but never mind.

all this for 10 switches and 1 split charge relay lol

switch holders

pushy bits

pretty bits

that's it for now, back to drawing board with wiper wiring

regards dash board, plan is to chop it in half and loose centre cosole and passenger side, then make up a new centre console covering fuses, that will include all dials and switches cb and I may treat myself to a stereo...oh and to hide the heater motor as well....

So last week, pish!

But yeah I recognise those durite switches now, they are always in commercials

Looking forward to seeing this develop, defo looks like you got the hang of it lad
