Hiya Think you might get a better response in the TD6/8 forum further down the list in th engine forum, us 300tdi boys and gals have no idea what a crankshaft sensor is...lol Or have a look in the Range Rover forum they know a lot more about that elctrickery and them new fangled computer...

Assume you have checked underneath to see nothing is hanging off like the Propshaft ?

Have just replaced all of mine except the motor, which a mate cleaned and meddled with the brushes for me. Haven't changed the steering column switch but believe the park switch is on the motor. My whole lot including, cable, wheelboxes, spindles and wiper was about £70 Not too bad a job...

Welcome to green oval; ownership advantage is a lot of the bits are cheap Just done all the wiper stuff on my 110 project so feel your pain It is more the hassle of taking the dash apart..

Got one on my 1995 110 project it has twin tanks but sedimeter for the side tank is between front and rear wheel drivers side. Believe if they fitted one to rear tank it is on the chassis behind rear n/s wheel according to page 90 of my Rave manual. tried to clip the pic but it wont have it
