Mine has a second battery stored in the rear right pocket where the detachable tow hook container normally goes. This has been a huge God-send and I have never suffered any battery issues in nearly 3 years!

What brand Water pump did you get? I hope it wasn't a firstline product as i have just had my second firstline one go in under 3 years!! Have just fitted a Hella pump as this is BMW standard fit I believe.

I wouldn't bother fitting anything internally. Just get 2 iPads and a mount for the rear of the seat. The beauty is you can take them away with you to continue viewing or put one in the front on the air vents as a map. :cool:

Take the plugs off the connections into the amp. There is probably green corrosion on the spikes inside the connecting socket. Wire brush and. Electrical spray should sort.

there is a free app called WAZE which is a real time traffic update. It also has a brilliant nav function which gives you eta, etc but also re-routes you if a serious jam appears ahead. Much better than the in-car system.

I Yes you can. Check also the two catches that come down over the bolts. A little lubrication should see these working properly again. Do this bit first before taking off the bolts.

it might be the vent flaps are stuck/gummed up with debris/fluff/dirt and are unable to physically open. U need to get the pollen filter off and have a look as well as inside behind the dash i reckon
