Hi and welcome! I've got the '99 2.0tdi and it's got a timing belt, yours should be the same. :cool: And as busterbus said, it's condensation or a leaky door seal, if you do a search you'll see there is quite a few threads regarding this. ;)

Want to do the facelift as well, as soon as I payed all the dept I had to make to get mine running again. Had to replace CV's, bolljoints ,engine mounting, injector nozzles. O yes and the back pice off the exchause came of while driving. :o But I still love it... :) Must be crazy....:eek:

The spots you got on are they original Landrover?:confused: I bought mine with similar spots allready fitted, Landrover spots, but they are crap! :mad: I've got a torch thats 10x better.... But at least they look good :rolleyes:

I remembered b'cause I got a L-series myself, only engine troubles so far was injectors which is probly normal for any doozel, o yes and it's the same color as yours, assuming the one in the pic is yours. Cheers

Cool ;) Not much difference in mine (L-series not TD4), just that it doesn't smoke as much as it use to, only under heavy acceleration which is normal for a doozel I think... :confused:

Thanks Optimus Prime, I thought as much, stupid wannabe! :) I unplugged the vacuum pipe that goes to the EGR and blocked it and bought another pice of pipe and plugged it into the EGR and blocked that off ass well? Is that correct? Thanks for all the replies everyone :D

You can do that yes... But how strong and reliable is the new bolts when going off-road? :eek: If you don't probably no problem, but I wont trust no bolts.... Just a thought :cool:
