I just got a kit for my TD4 with air, oil, pollen, engine breather and turbo breather. All Bearmach parts. Cost me £22.30 from LRSoffroad including postage. Arrived quickly. No issues.

Hi, I have a 55 Plate TD4. Been having a few problems with lack of power. Took it to the mates garage yesterday and one of the lads plugged it in. Diagnosed Map sensor. I forgot to ask him where to find it on the engine. Help appreciated. Thanks

Did mine 3 years ago. Think is was a Bosch. No problems with it. A good opportunity to change the fuel filter at the same time. It may be a good idea to have some small nuts and bolts to hand. When I did mine the original rivets that hold the cover on to the metal bracket crumbled and fell into...

Hi Ed, that's the one, feels like its driving in a constant flat spot!

It happened again this morning:eek:. I stopped the car, turned it off and re-started it. It was fine the rest of the day. Could the turbo solenoid be sticking? or is it more likely to be electrical?

Well, I drove to work and back today, 44 mile round trip, and not a splutter or cough. I suppose i'll just keep an eye on it.

Update- Just taken it out for a run. Given it a good thrashing and it didn't miss a beat. Checked pipes - no splits, checked turbo breather pipe - clear. No lights on dash at any point. If I take it to a garage will diagnostics show any faults that are not current?

Good luck! I fitted one to mine and it was a bit of a pain. I also fitted two 12v outlets in boot compartment at the same time. One from split charge relay output and one from the input so I can charge a spare battery whilst the caravan isn't coupled and use 12v accessories which the ignition...
