Have you got the seatbelt clip receiver part that bolts to the seat? I think they are the same LH & RH but if not I could do with one from the passenger seat. Cheers, H.

If your worried about cost of doors and seats I think you are barking up the wrong tree. This will be a bigger money pit than you can imagine :D Why not just use landy panels and build it on some other sort of chassis, you ain't going off road with it.... There's a defender that drag races...

Make sure you have a 12V min. at the bulbs. Old wiring and dirty connectors = voltage drop. Include extra relays and dedicated wire feeds to get over this, cheaper than fancy lights but does involve some wiring. There is lots of info on various forums, if you can't find it let me know and...

On my 90 it went in by the gearbox and came out in front of the rear x-member.

I liked the 5 spoke ones Silverline in Warwick sell, or sold as I cant see them on their website now. You could get them in two offsets, the ones with the bigger offset were a bit good. Saw a set, almost put me off Mach 5's!

Get you bum on some seats and see which appeals most. Don't buy in haste, hire something (perhaps a 4x4) for the 4 week trip, and see what comes up as folks who bought them for the winter get fed up with them and let them go. Golden rules: don't buy in the rain and don't buy the first you...

First Landy was a Sll 88", liked it a lot, daily driver needed changing, math in the trade had a N reg 300TDi, the enemy liked driving it, job done. Now on our 3rd 300TDi Disco, also have a 300TDi 'fender and the old Disco is being made into a NCF Sahara.

Happy days! Loved you accommodation, done the trip in the Disco a few times and we still love it. Planning the southern Outer Hebrides next spring with luck. If you go up again have a look at Plockton and go over the Pass of the Cattle to Applecross on the mainland, well worth it!

Had an intermittent fault in my 90 rear loom so dragged it out and the sheathing was in a right mess and as mentioned previously it was the common one for the 110. Problem was found about halfway down (galvanising has done for one wire) so cut each wire and removed the excess ensuring the cuts...

Just the job, looking forward to following the rebuild. Hope all goes well.

Have a set on my 98 Disco chassis for moving it about while its being worked on, they fit ok. I would have thought the weight would not be a problem as a RRC would be about the same weight as a Disco, it would be different if you were putting them on a 110 though.
