i would do but im a bit wheel bearing ocd.... i clean n grease bearings every couple of months when on the road so they get checked regular as clockwork, esp as this toy will be running 60mm spacers amazing how many collapsed bearing posts you see but folks havent checked em since the last...

what sort of money are u looking at paying?? mine to date owes me about £15,000 doing all the work myself, if i factored in paying someone else to build it then it would be crazy... prater etc all do custom work but churn out the end product with a £30 -£70k price tag, be an idea to give a ball...

dont waste money on red oxide ... the lead it contained that made it so good became illegal years ago (used to be known as red lead) its now no better than a poor b&q undercoat.....dinitrol (superb) ,waxoyl, por15 etc are all far better and self healing to an extent, i went for rust treatment...

Your far better off going for BZP rather than stainless, zinc and ally are as good as next to each other on the galvanic scale so far less of a galvanic cell reaction, stainless is several steps closer to a noble metal so will have a much higher corrosion potential although stainless wont rust...
