    Claiming to be tax free?

TBH I see both sides and don't much care about tax free or not... only eal issue to me is whether it would invalidate insurance in the event of an accident and subsequent inspection by the assessor - Buyer beware, and satisfy yourself that what you are buying is what it purports to be.... trust...

    1978 series 3 88in 2.25 diesel,slow,35 mph

For what it's worth... I run a bog standard 2.25 diesel on 7.50 tyres and have an overdrive fitted which seems to work really well and I live on the Mendips. Extra gearing from the tyres and overdrive work really well on the flat and gentle slopes... first gear really only for overcomming the...

    Do paddocks still sell

Pretty sure they do... Paddocks actually do a lot of stuff, or can at least get hold of a lot of stuff that they don't advertise - best bet is to ring them and ask?

    Timken or NTN???

Thanks Guys... Timken were my original choice, but Dunsfold did not have a full set in stock so offered me NTN. so really wondered if anybody had any experience of NTN bearings and how they stacked up against Timken as I have not come across them before?

    Timken or NTN???

Hi, Looking to fit a full set of inner and outer wheel bearings to my 1975 S3 88" Diesel as part of a full axle refurb.... Dunsfold and others seem to offer Timken and NTN bearings as OEM part replacements, but I was wondering which ones were best (given that they appear to be very similar in...

    Brake bleeding trouble

Not an expert in this field at all...but I have heard that pressure from fully inflated tyres is too high for easy-bleeds and should ideally use about 5psi? As I said I'm no expert on brakes as I prefer to get them done by a professional mate of mine who uses a vacumn kit to draw fluid through...

    vent flap seals

Got mine from Paddocks and they had a profile to help with providing a seal... bit of a bitch to fit initially, but dropped them into a bucket of boiling water inside a polythene bag to keep them dry, then bedded them on with RTV silicone and closed the vents and wedge them from the outside with...

The right parts would be NICE

Dunsfold Land Rover (Speak to Nick) Dunsfold DLR They sell Genuine parts where available, but if not are very fussy about what OEM parts they provide and only sell pattern parts that they would be happy using on their own collection (if nothing else is available), but if they are crap, then...
