My series 2 swb has a canvas tilt (nice quality one) It's going to live outside this winter & i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on how to keep it in good nick. any ideas ?

There are various canvas waterproofing and preservation products on the market, but they tend to be quite expensive.
A more natural alternative is a good coating of lanolin. A natural extract from sheeps wool which is often used in soap.

Avoid using linseed oil at all costs!

Thanks fellas, What is fabsil i've never heard of it. what form does it come in? How do you apply lanolin?

tomsons water seal is just as good not sure if its much cheaper mind :rolleyes:but worth looking into;).
we use a double strength clear silicone at work for sealing stone/brick work , it also works fantastic in my fishing tents too :D
