Right please help, Im one of these that cant do with make do i have to get things done on the land rover exactly right. Ive got a 1966 2a station wagon all of the rubbers ie seals are perished and letting water by, all of them. I have used paddock for the replacements but have found that nothing from them is anything like the originals used, for example the vent seals are a solid section of rubber, which do not recieve the vents, the rubber between the two door halfs is not wide enough and the holes for the locating bolts are too far forward in the rubber. etc etc. i have definetly got the right stuff from paddock because i have checked countless times. Does anyone know where i can get the genuine land rover parts? is there anywhere that only deals in genuine parts as appose to after market parts? its doing my bloody head in please help.

They sell Genuine parts where available, but if not are very fussy about what OEM parts they provide and only sell pattern parts that they would be happy using on their own collection (if nothing else is available), but if they are crap, then they won't stock them. They do have some Britpart stuff, but only where absolutely necessary and as I said before only if it is the decent stuff (which in fairness some of it is).

Service is second to none, and the knowledge that they have about older landies is probably the best there is. Not as cheap as Paddocks, etc, but if it's quality you're after then Dunsfold set the benchmark
