And I have caravan socket along with trailer socket, I've also got an orange switch ( like from the 80's) on my dash with wires under bonnet just dangling around :mad:

All sat quite happily ticking over and no fan at that point. I'll check the electric thermostat.
I had no concerns about an overheat..:(

My Porsche doesn't. There will always be exceptions. But viscous fans are very reliable. But they are so reliable no one ever checks them, they are taken for granted. Nothing lasts for ever.
My MV F4 1000R came with plastic fan blades that melt in traffic (swapped very quickly with Muzzy ally ones) Why? Because the fans are driven by crank gearing apparently. So slow engine speed in traffic, slow fans blowing air through the rads. Ridiculous. A lot of owners do an electric fan mod or add manually switched in Ducati fans. They do cook your nuts I can tell you. I had an aftermarket ECU fitted that dropped the fan on temp to 85C, a flashing 115C was not an uncommon sight when riding through London.

Right off to MoT the bike now.

Never had those problems with my Honda VFR or my Yamaha FJR;)
 
Never had one of them, but I did have a James, same engine:D:D

First bike i ever had age 13 was a New Imperial 250 TTmodel. I bought it from a lad at school called Mike Shallow for ten bob (fifty pence to our younger readers). Stripped it down and rebuilt it, reg was HG4497. Next was Franny Barnett 197. Next was 250 Enfield clipper. Next and last DBD B34 Gold star. Reg 507PTD. Had two mates kill themselves within two weeks of each other thought it was about time to move to cars. Because i was dafter on the bike than either of them. ;)
 
Agreed. GPMG with the ball/incendiary/ap/tracer link is Queen of the jungle, SLR, LMG, MP5, HK56, M60 not too bad but hard to shoot accurately, Steyr is also not a bad weapon. Sig 9mm pistol also very nice

In my sh*t list = LSW, SA80 in all versions that I have used, SMG, Browning HP
