See there is a lot to be said for my paper map :p:p:p:D:D:D

My route is getting really interesting. I have decided it needs to take in the tourist attractions of the Dales together with lanes :D So far it goes over one of the three peaks, through Aysgarth falls, past Kilnsey crag, Grassington, Bolton Abbey (how about a LandZone sponsored Strid jump ) & stump cross caverns and I am just doing a detour around Malham cove.

Still working on some more together with the toilet and coffee stops. Do you think anyone would actually volunteer to lead a group round this route, I doubt it :D

Oh and some of the lanes look a bit dodgy, showing as OK on trailwise but not showing as tracks on the OS. And they seem to cross lots of streams :D

PS - only joking about the strid, please dont try it  http://www.yorkshire-dales.com/strid.html

So, has anyone got a proposed route yet.

I'm bored with the route planning now, looking forward to seeing where we might be going :D:D:D

Sorry I had to remove the poll on who was available and when to check routes.

It didn't work :eek::eek:

If I finish off the series I may pop along, aiming for end of june with it so should be within timescale for unforeseen complications given that the last big item is a custom gearbox mount and I've got most of the metalworking stuff to do it…….

Settles only 45 mins max from me or 30 ish miles

Erm how many confirmed leaders do you have? How big are the groups?

Paul is dealing with that stuff, I have been included in the emails but cant open the MM files

I was meaning sell tickets to Dr Evil and his Landy actually running, not the trip :D:D

Right, could use knowing who's leading and how big groups are :)

Was curious as a lot of the lanes have 4-5 vehicles in a group advisories, and it'd be nice not to make the bobbles more annoyed

No we will be sticking to the rules, don't want to annoy the locals or anyone else. It will be a responsible trip, well the laning anyway :D:D

I found you a puddle too :D:D

It will be! Off to do some more bodywork riveting in a bit and tidy up the electrics!

I want to fit me monster sliders and take it on some lanes :D

Sorry to hi-jack the thread slightly, as I am trying to get some steel (part of a rear bumper) from Dr Evil, and I believe a few 'southerners' maybe on this trip....would anyone be near the Bristol/Bath area that wouldn't mind bringing it back with you?

Cheers

Stu I just had a thought! I can get it to Bristol and west for you via red hand or beasty if they're available to collect from Tewksbury

Where's Tewksbury???

I will be at the Bristol West show camping on the 22nd/23rd June :D but I am only 15mins away anyways ;)
