If you finalise a route on MM you can email it to me, your friend will just have to follow the icon on screen from one lane to the next.

the missuss is working and on call that weekend, so i'd have jack in tow. mebe get up for the day / confirm nearer the time.
probly be able to manage a day or so on a recce trip if needed beforehand tho.

will speak to zip re some routes, noticed that pauls map has a lane marked on that is tro'd (right hand turn on way up pen y gent from helwith end), or at least it was last time we did it!

just wanna be included in the thread on the off chance i'm available!

If that's the pic I put up, it's just what's on my Memmap, in fact it's only some of 'em .. so includes TRO'd lanes .. the lanes I've sent to Sue (I think) don't include TRO'd lanes that I know of or could find out.

PS, the pic is at 1:250000 scale, I use mostly 1:25000 when leading, it's much tighter .. :)

When I have a route between lanes I'll contact Sue or the forum and get a recce together, whether I drive or am driven .. I'd really hate to pass a route on that I don't 'know' works .. ;)

No problem with Jack coming, I think there will be other kids on the trip, campsite allows dogs as well :D

Will add your name as a possible and let you know when we are going out before then. That lane is showing as a TRO on trailwise but it doesn't seem to affect a good route to Hawes, if thats where we end up going

Quick question, I have been putting these into a route, just for me :D:D

Its 95 miles long, is that too far for a day. Very pretty route though :D

A lot depends on how difficult the lanes are and how many in each group. Should be doable with out too many tea breaks.

No idea how difficult they are yet, we are going to try them out. There are a few fords and rock steps mentioned on trailwise though.

It doesn't really matter for the trip, I am just practicing route planning :D:D

Its really difficult to put them together without a lot of tarmac in between.

The Bakewell run route we did was 82.3 miles, the track we actually followed was 85.2 miles, couple of slight detours and a turn around, so that'll give you a good idea. I did go a bit slower than usual as I barely knew anyone and their abilities, but I'd say 95 is easily doable, but a lot depends on the tracks on the day, tea-breaks and breakdowns/recoveries!!

Did you get my email then?

If you want, send me the route and I'll have a look .. ;)

split it over 2 groups one start one end and the other at the other end meet in middle

Might not be as easy as that. If most people come, which they probably wont, we would have more than two groups. A few of the lanes I have done before or ridden on the horses should be easy downhill but not so simple uphill. So if we are sending the most experienced one way and the less the other the lanes have to fit into the route the right way round.

I didn't realise how hard organising the Derbyshire weekend must have been
