what size does she need/ if shes on 235/85s I have a usable (just) 750, close enough the right size or think I have a couple of 205s on a rim.

Unfortunately they chose to fit 285/75/16 tyres to four of the wheels but a 235 on the spare. So 3 spares tyres for mine on the Wales trip :D, but non for Sarah

If she doesn't get one she can always fit one of my spares and her spare, at least that would pppppppppppput the same size on an axle.

The rolling distance between a 285/75/16 and 235/85/16 is around 25mm.

Hardly going to be an issue to get you home id have though ;)

You really need to be careful with these suggestions :p At the moment I cant decide whether you are serious or not :eek::D It sounds reasonable but it probably isn't.

I did say it jokingly but I'm sure some one some where out there has made it work, never say never with these things. My other silly suggestion was to wrap some 25mm rope around the smaller tyre

Or I could just get a spare the correct size....if I can find one:eek::p

If you can wait till the Wales trip I have a 285/75 BGF MT on a steel rim that's good enough for a spare..

Sorry but I can beat that if I choose to.

I have the six tyres already on or in my Landy. Plus the 6 different sized ones, all on wheels in my garage. Making a grand total of 12 wheels and tyres.

Of course I would need to take the horse trailer to put them all in :D:D
