Interesting, someone has suggested that some of the Wipac units have built in resistors. That would mean you wouldn't need to add anything else to the system.
Hello Guys
Looking for a bit of help, i've recently converted the side lights and indicators to the Wipac LED conversions.
Problem im having is all of a sudden the right indicator when put on is turning the hazards on.
Left is fine but the right just goes to hazards
Yes it'll hit the spot. It's a lot of dosh for a chuffing relay but I'm a lazy git and I hate soldering and wires so i]I splashed out!ouch thats 30 nicker!
if i just solder a diode onto each of the wires leading to the tell tail that will work right?
Right i braved it and took the Dash out and took the bulb out of the tell tail. no supprise it all started working fine. ive ordered some Diodes from flea bay and will fit this weekend thanks guys! i can indicate on roads again haha its just the little things isnt it
On the down side, in typical land rover tradition. I fixed the indicators and the Horn has stopped working hahaha not a fuse so ill have to dig deeper
In their defence, I've checked the Maplin website - it was 98p for two. So not as bad - still a rip off, obviously.
you got a link to them cowaski thats straight up my street is that ha
pulled the trigger to early on the standard diodes
