OK.. windscreen cover usually mean that if you get a chip, they fix it for free.

My question is, what's the sketch when jack frost and mr heater matrix play with it before the man from autoglass does and the chip turns into a crack?

Is a replacement screen free? is it reduced cost due to windscreen cover?

What is windscreen cover anyway???????

If you need a new screen you usually just pay the windscreen excess of something like £60 and the rest is paid by them.

Check your insurance policy, most include windscreen cover

yeah... i got windscreen cover but didn't know what it entails, as the only person i know that talks about it is that gavin bloke from autoglass, and even then all he ever says is that a repair is usually free... in his brummy accent

The windscreen company want to repair your screen because they'll probably make a loss on replacing it because the insurance company have hammered them down on price.

The insurance company want to repair your windscreen because they've forced the glass company to only charge a pittance for repairs.

In fact the only one who always wants a replacement is you. If you have windscreen cover then you pay whatever excess is on your policy and the glass company charge the insurers for the rest. If it'd cracked then it's a replacement.

Check your policy , Some Insurance companies is a free repair others 10 to 25 called a repair excess, if your screen on its last leg leave it till cracks then get a replacement , And i don't worry it wont fall in your lap
