Hey all, Names Adie.
I have a 2003 Freelander TD4, Recently it developed a starting problem.
In the morning if i give the heater plugs 3 ignition on/off's it starts first time, but after that it turns forever before starting again( a good 20-30 turns).
When started it chugs out a load of white smoke (unburned fuel).
It has no running problems at all, the problem started overnight as opposed to a gradual fault. It was ok tuesday night then problem started weds morning.
I have changed the heater plugs, air/oil & fuel filter and new oil.
The battery is good and strong and there are no cables/plugs loose and i cannot see anything else out of place.
I have exhausted all avenues i know of, Anyone else got ideas??
Thanks in advance guys N gals
