So what makes the l322 so hard to work on ??
+1 seems to be how cheep can i fix my range rover for,imo if you buy a expensive car you should know its going to be expensive to fix its not rocket science.if you want to keep your money in your pocked buy a cheap load of cr=p and drive that about.thats why so many range rovers are fuc++D up cause idiots with no money buy them on the cheap, spend no money maintaining them and sell them on to the next person thinking they have a bargain.theres a old saying you only get what you pay for.

Jerry, with 12K you could buy a BBS Extreme/Nanocom (if you don't already have one), plus an awful lot of spares for the P38. Ok shipping spares in from the UK is a real pain but it will be even more of a pain for a L322, unless you want to pay Stealer parts/repair prices.

I would hazard a guess that theres not a lot of difference in delivery time for parts from a French dealer or UK parts supplier (probably faster from the UK) if you want to pay for next day delivery.

I've personally always favored a manual gearbox, you control when it changes, plus they can be taken apart and repaired fairly easily, auto-boxes are designed by the devil and a bitch to diy repair.

I'd be inclined to invest some money in some tools and keep the P38

By the way do you live anywhere near Gourdon???

hippo i knew it was time to upgrade from a p38 when i saw a rsemblance i never forgot:(

I see what you mean ! Lol very similar !! Haha

I have not had any problems repairing or customising my L322. You can so anything if you put your mind to it. Just think some people are scared of the l322, there not that complex once you get to know how they work.

What do you think on the l322 after moving from a p38 ?

to be fair my vogue 50 was something else, ive had most variants of classics and p38s so the only way to go was l322 and they are a different breed alltogether everytime you drive it is like the day you bought it you agree:D:D:D:D

I don't know what it is but I look forward to driving my car and when driving it makes you smile, you can't help it. There just such good cars when there working.

And everyone knows what a range rover is !

Why is it these posts always turn into a P38 / L322 battle. We all drive Range Rovers, through good & bad but we still love em. As long as both are maintained properly they are a dream to drive & through this site there is plenty of help at hand......rant over.

i'm not knocking at all, if someone gave me an L322, i wouldnt say no. but my budget only allowed for a P38 (relocating from abroad back home and ****) so i am more than happy at the moment.

ok i have a few issues to sort out, but i know i'll get there in the end. it goes, it stops (very well now i must say), it turns, it goes up and down, it locks, it gleems, what more can you ask for?
