Ohhhh....I know now the system registration in France ... I think it would be difficult but not impossible to register a car american - a challenge!
The limit of my French is from the Cornflakes advert - 'A'vaiz Vous Borrow Some Milk?'

+1 seems to be how cheep can i fix my range rover for,imo if you buy a expensive car you should know its going to be expensive to fix its not rocket science.if you want to keep your money in your pocked buy a cheap load of cr=p and drive that about.thats why so many range rovers are fuc++D up cause idiots with no money buy them on the cheap, spend no money maintaining them and sell them on to the next person thinking they have a bargain.theres a old saying you only get what you pay for.
Good point, but not sure how well the XJR will cope with the horse trailer, especially off road..........keep the suggestions coming though
Anybody tried an ML Merc for example? Any good??
Wildcard option - LHD is a bonus - something imported from the US perhaps? Lincoln Navigator?? (Keith - je connais bien maintenant la systeme d'immatriculation en France... je pense qu'il serait difficile mais pas impossible d'immatriculer une voiture americaine - un defi!)
Cheers
Jerry
Even the boss of Mercedes said they are crap in a TV interview and if you think parts are expensive for the L322, ask after Merc parts
Yes you can register a yank, not as hard as it used to be, took me 3 years to get the MR2 approved, but spares and repairs are a big problem.
They are not homologated in France either methinks.See, told you you should have got a TR7

Thought about that, someone even did a diesel conversion, suspension is great if you like ocean rolling, but no aircon or cruise control so that knocked it on the headThen its gotta be a 2cv. You could fit air suspension!!!

:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughiMine sort of did. The seam at the front of the passenger footwell was parting. The throttle linkage was just above the split so when a passenger got in the revs increased. Just needed the right size passenger to set it as cruise control. 22 stone would have about right for 35 mph I reckon.
