Checking my new Freelander out before going south I found that the four road wheels have locking nuts on, which I have the key for, however, the spare on the back has a Landrover lock nut which I don't have a key for. See picture. It has a G stamped on it. Is there anyone in Fife near Dunfermline who has a key to fit. If I get it off I will be changing all 5 to a Landrover set. It is a 2006 Freelander TD4 2.0 Diesel.

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping to head south on Thursday, but none of the people who sell them can get one to me on time.

Problem sorted, got a key from dismantlers for £1, it didn't fit, but was similar, so I chiselled one of the protruding bits off and tapped it on, brought the locking nut off no problem. On the bright side, I have a key that will fit every Freelander locking nut. Just have to find an unattended Freelander and get a new set :) :) :) Makes you think though, it took 5 minutes to make that key, which makes a mockery of wheel locking nuts.
