i love the td5, far more driveable than my 3.5. ok the v8 is a passion thing but the td5 defenders i have been running around in recently are very very nice to drive. bags of power and no bull****.

however, i would be wary of running a td5 cos they like to go wrong and they are expensive when they do, especially when tuned (which is hard to resist)

was recently driving a remapped 110 DCPU, was rapid! i chickened out at 95 mph cos i thought i might rip the tilt off the back of it, but it felt like it would make 110/115 easy.
 
v8 aslong as its looked after, i have had 2 disco ones , never missed a beat , one with 180k on clock and one with 120k
