Some people have the same car in each bracket by now! I wonder if you can dump the results out to check / clean them up?

Mine's on 90600 (about 600 plus if I'm honest) and has every stamp in the book. The original engine is no more, but the new one is closing in on 30k miles :eek:

I'm still in the honeymoon period, it's going to be a year in May :D

My birfday in May, wife taking us on holiday. Wanted to drive her car to the airport! Whaaaaaaaat? 200 miles in a cramped Citroen C4 with it's 72mpg?

Stuff that, I'd rather do 20mpg in comfort :p:D

I've had mine for 6 years this year and I'm still in the honeymoon phase. I don't think it is something that ever wears off.
 
Just clocked around to 140k on my run back from Czech last week (960 miles in 2 days running at mainly 80mph on cruise and returning bang on 20mpg actual. Unusual thing though is that the fuel consumption gauge for that trip read 17.9mpg, nornally it reads higher than actual not lower!)
 
I just read back my reply from last year.

I got it so wrong!! o_O

The new engine was fitted at 84k miles (I think I was on so many pain killers last year that it fuzzed my math) only last month the odometer ticked over 100k miles so the engine only now has 16k miles on it and it runs like a watch, it just the other bits that let it down :(

All the recent hilarity with leads & coils, I now find I have another air leak because I disturbed everything with removing the inlet manifold. It's tight as far as I'm aware, but I'm getting a little miss on very gentle throttle just like before when I discovered the leak at the air duct after the MAF.

Oh, and the LPG is playing up, but could it also be the air leak?? I think perhaps. The "Fault" light comes on on the LPG level gauge (switch over button) each time I press the throttle pedal, which may indicate a lean throttle setting.

I can see I may need to take a trip to Ace Tuning 40 miles away and have them check the system over once I have found the air leak.

I love to hate this car. :rolleyes:
 
1999 DSE, 166 k,+ ish. Did 1500 miles last week. Bought it with 150,000 on the clock, first thing it did was gas me with Carbon Monoxide and try to kill me
 
...and today, with no help from anyone, she runs sweet on LPG once more!! o_O

I'm now thinking fuel trim oddity thanks to the long time she was running on 7 cylinders :rolleyes:

All I need to do is fill the tank with LPG and see what 200 miles will say :cool:
 
122000 + , 2.5 dse thinking of swapping the badge round ,so it will read 5.2. :eek: ..wont be any faster but people behind wont know that . :rolleyes: :D:D:D ..
