Hi just got a Freelander 2005 facelift, colour coded front bumper
Can anyone tell me what the piece is called that clips on to the lower front and runs underneath is called, I believe it protects the front in case you ground the vehicle.

Most folks would call it the 'Engine Undertray'.

It's not really designed to protect from grounding - that would be a sump guard.

This is more of a crud & cr*p deflector.

Why do you need to know this?

Mmmm how do I post a pic....
Ok posted pic. mine is not red but the part i want is the grey piece attatched to the centre of the bumper and goes a little way under
Also looking for part number for the front bumper spot/fog light ( its not round its oval shaped )

cannot find one anywhere new or second hand
they all seem to be showing the model before mine, same goes for bumper spot/fog light replacement.

The silver plastic bit is part of the bumper!
The original fogs in the bumper apparently aren't available for a retro fit but you can get the tooth paste tube lid type ones still off eBay!

Thanks to everyone who took time to read my plea and offer help
The best so far is a new bumper at £275 + vat
Bearing in mind my bumper is fine and does not need replacing.
I only want the panel below which clips off, as you can see its cracked top right
Cannot order one from scrapper or new as I have no part number, they keep coming back with complete bumper new or old and wrong model.
Same goes for n/s fog light, no part number again, I keep getting the front round pod style, as mine is oval and inset and it has has a cracked lens.

The plastic bezel around the lamp is available from land rover. I've had a pair recently. The plastic bumper bit may appear to clip on, but it has plastic lugs that go thru the bumper and are melted to weld it on! These can break off or be cut off allowing it to come off. But it's part of the bumper assembly and isn't available separately. I know this cos I've facelift ed mine and taken em to pieces to paint! I got mine off eBay complete and 2nd hand.
