Ok cheers ! Yeah, don't have one of those....was trying to remember what was said. I remember them saying as it is magnetiszed , a signal can be read with the wheel stationary. Like i said at before , having replaced the sensor that was possibly damaged and putting back the old CV joint it is most likely the magnetic wheel that i damaged while scraping away all the rust etc - i don't think i could have damaged the cable in the bonnet passed where the new sensor plugs in. Both sensors giving the same error code, i don't even think the bent sensor was broken. Fingers crossed...🍷😏
 
The sensors are active and can't be tested in ohms. They require a supply voltage to work. You could do a comparative test to the others but use a high impedance meter or you may damage them.

All wheel bearings are the same for front and rear. Make sure you get them the right way around with magnetic straps innermost.
Going to get into it this week hopefully after having water damage to take care of. If i can't fix it myself i'm leaving it in as my MOT date is up at the end of august - unfortunately the garage can't take me until the 13 of september.
Quick question - there are 48 pairs of North and South poles on the bearing ring and a sensor that dits in one place which reads the wave fluctuations - is there supposed to be a stationary magnet on the wheel knuckle that induces the fluctuations as the bearing goes round past it , which the sensor then reads - or is there only the bearing and the sensor that interacts with it ? There has to be a pole which the bearing reacts to - if its in the sensor rhen that is fine , but i chipped of a small pimple of what i thought was rust which may be important - just making sure its not a stationary magnet on the wheel knuckle that the bearing rides past causing the fluctuations that the sensor reads. Nothing like this or ?Thanks again 🍷😏

No fixed magnet on hub. Must be in the sensor.
Just back from 2 weeks holidays - had to wait 2 months for a garage to change the bearing out as i don't have a press - they forgot my booking but got it done a week later .....charged me a **** load even though i had removed everything before and everything was loosey goosey ! The Amigos are gone , so that's a FIX !!!! Thanks for all the help man especially since it took forever.... I hd to wait so long for a garage time that i am outside the MOT period now and its illegal to drive the car till its through. All i have now is a wik-wik-wik sound when i turn under load that seems to come from the front right - this is why i changed the doutside drive axel that caused the ABS problem to begin with - sound was still there so i put the old axel back and changed the sensor - the Amigos cleared with the bearing change ! So, the sound isn't from the wheel bearing or the axel - maybe inner axel .....? Thanks again! 🍷😏
