Took the head off a TD engine expecting a blowen head gasket to find the head cracked between two valves and piston 3 cracked in two pieces and piston 4 following very soon. :eek:
 
Ah took off the rear back plate and stub axle from the white bus last night. Ah was a bit bored today so ah took the wire brushes to the back plate tonight ready fur paintin' and swappin' over when ah change me stub axles on the green bus....

did everything but the brakes.He dont wanna touch them.ANd hes decided th licence plate is fubar-surprised it got through first time.And the steering box is leaking, still.
 
Removed half a ton of scrap metal...and a few saleable extras....from the engine bay of my 110. Applied liberal coats of Hammmerite to the various parts already removed and cleaned. Any suggestions as to best paint to use for underside of the bonnet?

i bought one...

a 1987 110 TD, for a very reasonable sum,

got to get onto some waxoyl and then sort out a few dents on the wings,
 
all in due time my man, lol

it needs to be taxed 2moro then im driving it back so ill get some pictures up soon :D

Beige 110 is the way forward...
 
I changed the park switch as I had lost intermitent on my wipers. As it was parking correctly I wasn't sure if it was the park switch or wiper stalk. Looks like it's the stalk then.:doh::rolleyes:
