In the morning I shall be filling my Disco with Bio deisel again.

Welcome back for lower price, smooth running, nicer smell, but not welcome back for extra grief starting it :(

First though, I've just spotted the time and so need to make a :bolt:and get to the youth club......back later.

not sure where to go next mabe do some different lanes around strata or do streton again what do you think??

Depending when, I'm thinking it will soon be v cold for camping....maybe somewhere close for a long day.

(Maybe start a "where shall we go next" thread in the green laning section)

changed hub seals, gearbox fluid, oil and coolant. also discovered a leak in the power steering box :(

and removed the left wing... only surface rust, so thats going to be treated and sealed.
and also going to seal all the little holes on that box section above the tyre...no water will get in there!

Put a nice big dent in the roof side just above the drivers door...

Was laning last night with some mates, my landy being about 4" taller than everyone elses didn't make it under a leaning tree... saw it too late and now I have a nice fresh battle scar.

stripped out the wiring from the front and rear spots and inside light:eek: i want to move the switches which were across the front of the cubby box and kept getting knocked on by accident:rolleyes: looking at the jumbled mess of wiring thats now lying on my garage floor it'll be a miracle if i ever get the spots working again:eek:  seemed like a good idea at the time tho:rolleyes:

Technically nothing on my landy, but a bit for my Landy.
The side frames of my 110 estate (it's not technically a CSW) had rotted very badly so I looked at repairing them ages ago, it's hard to weld to nothing, so iot would have meant fabricating most of the rear of the frame. I went to the local breakers (not Landy specific) looking for a bit for another car, wondered round and found a 110 CSW there. Agreed a price for the slightly rusty frames.
After a few hours of work and lots of swearing I parted with £50 and walked away with the two frames. The best price I found online was around £450 incl VAT& delivery per side for Britpart ones.

I'm so happy.

stripped the swivel balls off and replaced every oil seal i could find from them to the wheels!! new discs and pads and a bloody good clean up of everythin!

Took my disco 300tdi out greenlaning for the first time and discovered a whole different way of driving. I also made my passenger cry through fear (he is only 9 though).

I picked up my nooo 3 Piece rear seats.

Just gotta find time to fit them now.

I gotta get some bits fitted soon. I'm running out of space in my front room.
