sealed the top and bottom of the windscreen  the leaking hasn't been a problem until now as pig was really only used to go to farm and back, now it's my daily ride i want to try and keep my feet dry;)

Fitted some heavy-duty waterproof seat covers, that were on special offer at the local Agricultural Merchants, to me 110. Then took em out again and put them back in the box to be returned because they are crap.
Went indoors and ordered some genuine LR ones - hopefully they'll fit better!
**** the expense.

i have some - they do fit nice but they split along the outer seat base seam - i guess it's caused by climbing in and sliding across the seat (and pulling the cover with you) - if you could just plonk yer arse down on the seat they'd probably last a while - oh and the bit of fabric that you jam down the gap between where upright and base of the seat meet keeps coming out

put another front brake cylinder in the series to find out the master cylinder was leaking ! spent the rest of the day painting it...it's now matt green all over except the roof which i'll do next weekend !

Fitted a new serpentine belt, cleared the gunge out of the non- working windscreen washer and best of all - stopped the rattle thats been driving me insane for the last 18 months:D. Sounded like it was coming from inside the dash but in fact was part of a steel channel behind the engine touching the transmission tunnel. Three noises gone in one week!!!

Pressure washed the chassis, cleaned the whole thing inside & out, oh and changed the oil & filters as the seal split on the large filter & leaked oil all over the drive !!

Looked at me Series and thought " Sod it, the body's coming off so as to weld the chassis up the chassis properly to within an inch of its life! "
Days off start tomorrow, itching to get at it ! :):):)
