Started to fit a snorkel, but then the rain came ... pics up in Discovery forum shortly ... ;)

fitting a snorkel is the landy equivelent of doing a rain dance. :p

Nah, fitting a snorkel is bound to bring on a spell uf unseasonably warm, dry weather, guaranteed to dry up all fords, mud-splashes and marshes .. ;)

It's taking the roof off and fitting hoops and a softtop that brings the rain on ...

Mind, IIRC the snorkel was originally developed for hot, dusty conditions to raise the air intake out of the crap ... but I could be wrong!!

;)

cleaned up grill with a nice sand and a blast of satin then fitted new td5 headlight surrounds, couldn`t believe how much water was in the indicator lenses... now i am fighting with the centre seat, stupid bolt placement!!!!

Finished welding the pedal box and undersealed it all, got the offside wing back in place after a right struggle.
Ended up undoing the four nuts that hold the shocker top hat on and lifting it away a bit from the inner wing area, then it dropped on a treat:D
