Just finished fitted a new HD clutch and putting it all back together. Now my box is rattling in Neutral

gonna chuck some expensive oil in it later next week and hope it makes it go away.

Ordered an EGR plate, too.

Crushed fingers, skinned my knee, drank some 80/90 and discovered that transfer boxes are a pain in the arse to mount on your own.

Does it rattle all the time or does it stop eventually?
I've heard that its the clutch release bearing? anyone can confirm?

rattly clutch in neutral, if u depress the clutch does the rattle go away and then return when u release it? if it does it is usually the clutch release bearing...

finally put thae last of my interior back together this PM. Happy days.
Gearbox still rattling - tied it down to either release bearing ( doubtful, brand spanking new) or input shaft bearing .... probably - gearbox is a bit on the high mileage side

Hopefully gonna get the replacement Winch on tonight.....
