spent the weekend replacing worn bushes and rebuilding the handbrake as the adjuster was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard! :D

well, yesterday i managed to mangle the front end of the rangey, trying to do a 360 in a space of about 10ft sq( id towed a non runner up the drive an had to get the rangey at the back of the car,so that i wasnt blocked in), i put it into the bushes to get a bit more swing...only problem was there was a fooking huge branch been cut off at indicator height, a quick blip of the throttle and im now looking at a nice little job for the week nite...if i can get the bits at a SENSIBLE price.

ah well....**** happens

I stood in front of mine, looked at the xfer box on the floor, the winch in the garage, the snorkel kit i still haven't fitted, and the lightbar with no lights on in it's box - took a deep breath.........

........and went indoors for a cuppa instead.

Technically yesterday, but was nackered and not on internet last night ..

Replaced rear centre brake pipe, front nearside brakepipe, removed, fettled and replaced seals in rear offside caliper and pistons, bled, replacing all old fluid, whole brake system down and now it feels like brakes should feel!

Cleaned offside headlight connections, re-set nearside headlight level, and cleaned then pressure washed all spilt brake fluid off the calipers etc.

Put on a new front diff oil seal and bearing, new front propshaft and tidied the dents on the underside of the footwell up a bit.

Still to do ... fit a new oil cooler pipe to replace the one that's currently leaking, and re-do a rocker gasket that's also decided to start leaking this week, but they can wait a bit longer .. ;)

i covered up my rusty back in end with duck tape untill after santa pod :)

and put some crappy lights on as mine was a 300tdi with lights and indicators in the bumper only

just had twoo weeks away towing caravan in my 300tdi auto and realised it was pulling right no power so after a lot of messing about and looking found a crack in one of thhe pipes going to the turbo repaired it and hey presto problem solved..........wish id looked sooner could have got on hols a bit quicker
